Megan Pugh is a writer and editor. The author of America Dancing: From the Cakewalk to the Moonwalk (Yale UP, 2015), she has also published criticism and poetry in the Believer, Boston Review, Denver Quarterly, New Republic, Oxford American, Village Voice, and other magazines. Raised in Memphis and educated at Yale and UC Berkeley, she now lives in Portland, OR, where she helps nonfiction writers hone and develop their own manuscripts.
